Knockraha Women runners up in county final Badminton

Knockraha Ladies Novice Badminton Team who came runners up in their division. Defeated by Mallow in the final on Sunday 21st April in Nagle Community Hall Mahon.

Litter free road side competition

The litter free road side competition begins on the 10th of May. and will run weekly. We are asking all members of the community to come out at 7pm on each Friday and support the effort to keep our village tidy.

Macra Na Feirme

22nd September Club night out

Time and venue to be confirmed.

25th-27th National Ploughing championships in New Ross Co. Wexford.

Macra will have a stand at it and anyone attending on Wednesday are requested to wear Red as Macra will be doing something different at 1pm at the Macra stand.

28th September is a regional FREE bowling night.

Leisure Plex Cork city  at 8.30pm teams of 6 (3boys & 3girls) per team all are welcome to attend and we will be heading to the Shelbourne bar for a social night after.

30th September Beef stock judging.

The event will be held in Cork Marts farm Midleton at 11.30am best of luck to all members attending.

5th October Know your Ag quiz.

The event will be held in the Stables bar Carrigaline.

6th&7th October  Macra National Finals Men’s/Ladies 7 aside GAA football

The club recently qualified for both the Men’s and Ladies 7 aside GAA football in the Macra National Finals and we will be travelling to Roscommon on the 6th&7th October to compete.

The Club will start Knitting/ Crochet with our local I.C.A club on tuesday nights. We are currently starting to set up a Capers show (Variety show for Macra similar to Tops of the Town) more information on this to follow.
